Summary

Sun Wukong discovers a crystal Dragon Palace in a well, where he meets the Old Dragon King, who claims to protect the corpse of Si Gui, a king drowned by a demon. Sun Wukong, skeptical and angry at the Dragon King's allegiance to the Western teachings, demands the corpse. After a comical exchange with Tripitaka, they decide to burn Si Gui's body to prevent him from becoming a Hopping Vampire. However, the corpse remains unaffected by the flames. Sun Wukong discovers a Ding Yan Pearl in the corpse's mouth, and upon its removal, the body crumbles, leaving the ghost of Si Gui hopelessly watching his demise.
