Summary

Bai Xiao Chun is struck by powerful lightning, which he discovers he can absorb to enhance his cultivation. This lightning is more potent than what he previously encountered, invigorating him and causing his immortal blood to surge with vitality. A ghostly face, lurking nearby, watches him closely, hoping to claim his corpse once he succumbs to the lightning. As Bai Xiao Chun continues to scream and appear weakened, he cleverly feigns vulnerability to draw the ghostly face closer. Despite being struck multiple times, he refuses to give in and pushes himself forward, even as he appears on the brink of death. Just as the ghostly face closes in, Bai Xiao Chun makes a desperate final dash toward a gathering of lightning, seemingly sacrificing himself to lure the ghostly face in. However, the ghostly face hesitates, suspecting a trap, and ultimately retreats, waiting for Bai Xiao Chun to die. After a month of watching, it finally decides to approach again, only to hear Bai Xiao Chun’s defiant declaration that he still has one breath left.
