Summary

Li Hao is restricted by his father, Li Tiangang, to stay in the courtyard after returning from the pleasure house. They have a minor argument but reach an understanding. Li Hao spends his time in the Listening Rain Pavilion, studying martial arts techniques and awaiting the return of Second Master. He learns that understanding the heart of a master requires personal insight and experience, and he reflects on the diversity of martial arts styles. A month later, Li Hao encounters Bian Ruxue, a girl he hasn't seen for eight years. Their reunion is warm, and they reminisce about the past. As they explore the city, they discuss their lives and training experiences.
