Summary

In a secluded valley, over ten mysterious cultivators and hundreds of elite warriors defend against a horde of demons, protecting tens of thousands of civilians. Among the civilians, a few thousand brave souls prepare to fight back. The young sword cultivator, Xing Xiangchen, leads the defense, showcasing his skills. As they camp for the night, they tend to the battlefield and the wounded. Despite the slow progress of their journey westward, Xing Xiangchen feels a growing responsibility for the civilians. He shares food with children, reflecting on the joy found in their struggles. Tie Hu, his companion, expresses a sense of fulfillment despite the challenges ahead.
