Summary

Within the ancient city, Jiang Ying Rong grapples with uncertainty about her daughter's future amid the harsh environment. Her daughter, Jiang Qing Cheng, brings joy, but a boy nearby hides his feelings behind a facade. The chief steward, Jiang Yu Ping, suggests they return to the main city for better opportunities, emphasizing the dangers of the wasteland.
