Summary

In the grand hall of Hai Shan, Qin Wei Wei instructed cave masters to escort willing pearls and coins to Nan Xuan Mansion. Miao Yi, the notable cave master, stood out in his black uniform, causing annoyance among others. As they proceeded, Miao Yi led his men, while Qin Wei Wei followed with her riders. Upon reaching the mountain gate, they encountered Zhou Li Qin and Qian Zi Feng, who were on duty. Miao Yi exchanged pleasantries and discreetly bribed them. Later, Xiong Xiao, Master of Shao Tai Mountain, greeted Miao Yi, raising suspicions about Miao's past actions. Miao inquired about Xiong's maids, revealing connections to a significant incident involving the death of City Lord Huang, Chun Xue's father.
