Summary

Yu Du Xiu suspects Xu Yi Niang of leaking information about his borrowing the Fire Repelling Pearl. Despite the doji's assurance that the news didn't spread, Yu Du Xiu decides to take advantage of the situation to claim the pearl for himself. He instructs the doji to keep visitors away while he crafts treasures at Emerald Bamboo Peak. Yu Du Xiu's sister, Yu Shiniang, is allowed to begin her cultivation, which brings her joy. As Yu Du Xiu prepares to refine a magical artifact, he contemplates the challenges ahead, including the moral dilemma of using living beings to harness the power of fire. Ultimately, he resolves to sacrifice himself instead of harming others.
