Summary

Before the Sui army's retreat from Loufan Pass, they arranged a secret passage for their return. Wang Xuan Jing and his soldiers uncovered this passage and crawled through it, emerging in a concealed area near the city wall. They created a hiding space in a warehouse, which contained untouched grain. After regrouping, they planned to seize the south city gate while a thousand Turkish troops were stationed nearby. Wang Xuan Jing and his team executed a stealth operation to eliminate Turkish sentinels in a watchtower, allowing for a surprise attack. They successfully took down the sentinels and signaled their success to the scouts on the mountaintop.
