Summary

Mei Lun returns to the room he initially entered but finds nothing. He recalls a flash of inspiration about an underground chamber and begins searching for it. After locating the entrance and using a sleeping poison on the guards, he enters the chamber, which resembles a prison filled with grotesque beasts. He struggles to open a massive steel door but eventually uses a corrosive poison to create an opening. Inside, he discovers a black swan with three golden eggs. Upon waking, the swan initially reacts aggressively but quickly becomes joyful upon recognizing Mei Lun. He learns the swan is restricted from leaving due to the giants and decides to help her escape. Mei Lun prepares by poisoning the castle's water source and uses his Contract Summoning ability to teleport outside the Giant's Royal Court with Spike and the black swan safely tucked away.
