Summary

In a moment of reflection, Ning Chen and Mingyue arrive at a city in Great Xia after a long journey. While Mingyue sleeps, Ning Chen contemplates the dangers they face, particularly from Xia Huang, who seeks revenge for the kidnapping of the little emperor. As he prepares to disguise himself to evade pursuit, Mingyue helps him with makeup, transforming him into a handsome middle-aged man. They venture out for dinner, but when Mingyue expresses dissatisfaction with the food, Ning Chen decides to grill fish for her. However, upon returning, he finds Mingyue in distress, confronted by three young masters. Enraged by the situation, Ning Chen warns the onlookers before preparing to confront the aggressors.
