Summary

Bai Xiao Chun is left behind by his companions after a decree from the Heavenly Lord. He faces hostility from the Bei Mai sect, especially from the Yun Lei Shuang Zi and other Celestials who mock him for his previous actions in Dong Mai. Feng Chen, a Celestial, proposes three harsh rules for Bai Xiao Chun's stay in Bei Mai: he cannot reside in the Black Coffin, cannot refine pills, and cannot absorb spiritual energy from the sect. Although Du Ling Fei defends him, the half-divine young man supports the rules, leaving Bai Xiao Chun feeling helpless. After being sent to a simple quarters, he realizes he is under constant surveillance and cannot cultivate, leading to his despair.
