Chapter 950: Annihilating the Western Qiang, Slaughtering the Di Clan [950]

Summary

Mi Dang, hesitant to engage in battle, suggests fleeing Liangzhou, their ancestral home, due to the overwhelming threat of the Han army. He faces opposition from his companion, who insists on fighting rather than surrendering. Ultimately, Mi Dang decides it's better to live and urges their clansmen to prepare for departure. Meanwhile, Liu Mang of the Han army plans a pursuit of the Qiang and Di clans, despite the exhaustion of his troops. He assigns his generals to various roles for an impending battle. The Qiang and Di soldiers, demoralized and fearful of the Han army's capabilities, prepare for an ambush. As the Han army attacks under the cover of darkness, chaos ensues among the Qiang and Di tribes. Despite their attempts to escape, they find themselves surrounded by the Han forces, leading to a desperate plea for surrender from Yang Qian Wan, who realizes the strength of the White Armor infantry. Liu Mang contemplates the situation, and Jia Xu expresses his discontent with the idea of leniency towards the rebels.
