Summary

The tale follows the Old Ancestor of the Fire Silkworm who, despite his size and power, fails to catch the swift Yu Du Xiu. After suffering injuries and losing his prized Samadhi True Fire, he attempts to salvage his silkworm cocoon by dragging it into magma. Sensing Yu Du Xiu's approach, he prepares to attack but instead engages in a game of cat and mouse, throwing stones at Yu Du Xiu. The chase intensifies, with Yu Du Xiu sustaining injuries but ultimately devising a plan to escape towards the lava, aiming to take the silkworm cocoon with him. The Old Ancestor, realizing Yu Du Xiu's intentions, jumps into the lava in pursuit, but the distance between them may determine the outcome of their encounter.
