Summary

Adjacent to North Port Space City is the Mengga Airspace, crucial for the Frosty Republic due to its mining resources. The Mengga people, indigenous to Mengga Star, initially held a low status but became vital allies after the Frosty Republic's conquest. Despite their brutal reputation, they played a significant role in military efforts, though they faced heavy losses in the recent Battle of Twin Hunters. An emergency meeting convenes on Mengga Star, where representatives argue about supporting the Frosty people against the New Nia. Among them is Nina, who seeks revenge on Tabban, the man who killed her sister. Unable to bring lethal weapons, she contemplates poisoning him. A young man offers to help, claiming he can ensure Tabban's fate is sealed. He then steps onto the stage and pours water into the Grand Speaker's cup, hinting at a violent outcome.
