Summary

Han Sen observes a rebellious knight stuck in a tree, contrasting with a loyal knight he battles. While dragon-blood snakes and little Feng Feng engage the loyal knights, Han Sen uses his dagger to inflict damage. Despite their efforts, no beast souls drop from the defeated knights. Han Sen realizes the rebellious knight's genes have assimilated the loyal knights, making subjugation impossible. The momentary Empress confirms that only a stronger force can command the rebellious knight. Just as they discuss this, the rebellious knight breaks free from the tree, bloodied and menacing, ready to confront Han Sen.
