Summary

In a vast desert, Gong Yi and his companions struggle to find water, using methods like extracting moisture from plants and drinking urine, but their efforts yield insufficient results. As dehydration takes its toll, Hong Jie loses consciousness, and Gong Yi develops a high fever. Wang Chong and Reynold, despite their own exhaustion, carry their incapacitated friends while silently vowing not to give up. They face despair as they traverse the endless sands, with their physical limits tested. Eventually, Reynold collapses, leaving only Wang Chong to drag the others forward. As he pushes on, he begins to hallucinate, questioning his strength and sanity, until he loses consciousness, hearing a whisper in his ear.
