Summary

Mei Lun senses an intensifying supernatural atmosphere as he approaches a magical vine, which has caused destruction and ensnared fairy tale characters. Despite its eerie appearance, the vine seems welcoming, but Mei Lun quickly escapes its grasp. He ascends into the clouds, where he encounters dark plants and giant villages inhabited by giants who are unaffected by the fairy tale chaos. Mei Lun decides to interrogate a giant for information about treasures, specifically a goose that lays golden eggs. After capturing a giant named Gudu, Mei Lun learns about the treasures located in the royal palace. He continues to gather information from other giants, all of whom exhibit a desire to eat him. With time running short before the fairy tale's twist at midnight, Mei Lun heads toward the Giant King's court, where he realizes the challenges of infiltrating the heavily guarded area. He decides to wait for the giants' rest period to find an opportunity to enter the royal palace.
