A Top Scholar From A Humble Background.
Chapter 94: Printing Instructions. [93]
Summary
Shen Xi proposes publishing books containing the stories told by the popular storyteller Lord Han Wu from their family's tea house. His idea is to collaborate with local bookstores, providing them with the books to sell and splitting the profits. This way, they wouldn't need to open a shop themselves, avoiding drawing attention from Shen Xi's strict grandmother. Initially hesitant, his mother Zhou and aunt Hui Niang agree to fund the venture using profits from Hui Niang's medicine shop. They decide to keep the plan secret from Shen Xi's father and grandmother for now, fearing their interference. As Shen Xi narrates one of Lord Han Wu's stories, his father returns with news about his missing uncle, prompting Zhou and her husband to leave for the night to assist in the search.Full content
