Summary

As Hong Shan’s supply battalion advanced cautiously, Youqiong’s forces prepared for confrontation but became suspicious of the delay. After realizing it might be a diversion, Youqiong’s elder dispatched scouts and discovered Hong Shan’s troops taking a detour. He ordered an intercept, leading to a chaotic battle where Hong Shan’s untrained soldiers fled, abandoning their supplies. Youqiong’s forces seized the supplies and launched a full-scale attack on the retreating Hong Shan troops, significantly weakening them. The captured provisions bolstered the imperial army, tightening the noose around the coalition’s resources, while Youqiong’s clan lord commanded further action to eliminate any remaining threats from Hong Shan.
