Summary

Yuan Zhou spent the night thinking about Blade Light and Sword Shadow, leaving him disoriented. He lay in bed until 9:00 AM, then remembered his new skill, which required practice. He washed up and went downstairs to prepare breakfast, settling on a simple egg-fried rice dish. After eating, he decided to practice carving outside, but the system reminded him that his level was too low to take store items outside. Undeterred, Yuan Zhou used a chair from his room and began practicing with carrots. However, the system again prevented him from continuing, citing his low level. Yuan Zhou then decided to buy vegetables from a nearby market, returning with a bunch of carrots. He successfully practiced carving roses from the carrots, creating eleven of them. As he worked, he was briefly interrupted by his neighbor, Boss Tong, and later by Mu Xiao Yun, who asked if she could take the practice pieces, but Yuan Zhou refused, saying she could take them next time.
