Summary

Zhang Ye, a skilled poetry reciter, countered Director Wang's poem "Everything" with his own "This is Also Everything". The latter was a critique of the former's pessimism, filled with optimism and hope. Zhang Ye's poem impressed the interviewers, who initially underestimated him. Despite his literary talent, Director Wang rejected Zhang Ye due to his short height, a minimum requirement of 1.8 meters. Hu Fei argued on Zhang Ye's behalf, but it seemed hopeless. Zhang Ye left, feeling appreciated by Hu Fei, but considering ways to increase his height to meet the requirement.
