Summary

Niu Ke's soul, injured and trapped, faced the wrath of another as he confessed his involvement in a deadly scheme. Under pressure, he revealed that Niu Ke had stolen a corpse from the protagonist's sister. Just as he was about to disclose more, his soul was destroyed, leaving unanswered questions and a chaotic mix of emotions. Qiu Shi Ren, the protagonist's brother, advised against dwelling on the past and encouraged rest. As they stepped outside, they encountered monks, including Fu Guang, who would assist in resolving the lingering evil spirits. Plans for the area’s future were discussed, with hope for a better balance of energies. Exhausted, the protagonist yearned for home and comfort.
