Summary

Meanwhile, Jin Qing Feng, who is also in the hospital, avoids an elevator ride and ascends the stairs cautiously, aware of potential dangers linked to a patient on the 72nd floor. Both characters are navigating a dream-like state where they can sense each other's presence but cannot communicate directly. As Zhou Zhen climbs the stairs, he hears footsteps and attempts to track Jin Qing Feng, firing his gun to see if it alters the course of the footsteps. He discovers a fire on the 29th floor but decides to keep moving, recognizing the dream's unreality. On the 61st floor, he finds Nurse Hu Bing asleep and realizes she is a bridge between his world and Jin Qing Feng's.
