Chapter 920: Disguised Visit (Part 2). [924]
Summary
Zhang Xuan visits a rice shop in Zhongdu with his guards, initially causing concern among the shopkeeper and crowd. He inquires about rice prices and origins, learning that the price differences are due to quality and transportation costs. After a brief encounter with Lu Yu, who suspects Zhang Xuan's true identity, Zhang Xuan moves on to a mule and horse shop. He hears the sound of a warhorse and insists on seeing it, but the shopkeepers deny its presence. A subordinate informs him that there are actually dozens of warhorses inside, prompting Zhang Xuan to order his troops to surround the shop. He discusses the situation with his companions, realizing the warhorses are likely being disguised for illegal trade. The chapter ends with Zhang Xuan and his companions preparing to investigate further.Full content
