Summary

The Scholar taunts Yi Fan, who has improved significantly since their last encounter. Yi Fan, now empowered by a little fox spirit, prepares for battle. The Scholar uses a black mist attack, but Yi Fan counters with a wall of fire. As the Scholar reappears, they engage in a fierce duel, with Yi Fan skillfully evading attacks and striking back. The Scholar, shocked by Yi Fan's growth, retaliates with dark light swords, which Yi Fan deflects using a white flame from his stone sword. The Scholar summons vengeful spirits from a Netherworld gate, putting Yi Fan in a difficult position. Despite the overwhelming odds, Yi Fan resolves to fight back fiercely.
