Summary

Shao Bai, feeling the grip of the ghostly figure Gui Shi Bai Du, realizes he might die but cannot abandon the monk. As he witnesses the monk's plight, An Zheng arrives, saving him and the monk by defeating Gui Shi Bai Du. An Zheng extracts the ghost's spine and obliterates his soul, but he prioritizes helping his friends over his own safety. Chen Zhong Qi urges An Zheng to leave, but An Zheng vows to return for him. Meanwhile, in the underworld, Hei Jian learns of Bai Du's death and plans to confront An Zheng. The Evil Spirit Yama reflects on his past and the loss of his master, vowing to protect the lord's residence despite the danger.
