Summary

In early spring, the war-torn land marks thirteen years since the Jurchens invaded and eleven since the Wu Dynasty's decline. The new emperor, Zhou Jun Wu, aspires for revival amidst chaos. In January, the princess's entourage captures Fuzhou, and a fleet aids Jun Wu's forces. By February, Zong Fu Zong Bi announces victory in the southern expedition but faces challenges as the Wu Dynasty fragments. The battle of Changsha sees the Jin Kingdom's Yin Shu Ke against Huaxia's Chen Fan, leading to a prolonged struggle. Despite initial successes, Chen Fan retreats deeper into the mountains. The battle concludes on February 24 with unexpected outcomes, including the death of Yin Shu Ke and the emergence of the fierce Yu Ming Zhou. Wan Yan Qing Jue, captured during the chaos, learns of the Huaxia army's counterattack and the fall of Changsha. He witnesses the aftermath, including Yin Shu Ke's head displayed on a flagpole, and is imprisoned, sensing the shifting tides of war outside.
