Summary

Tang Xiu has resolved to investigate the Lian family, believing them to be enemies. He requests thorough intelligence on them within three days from his allies, Song Dong Lai and Ao Wei, who express excitement over his plan. Meanwhile, Tang Xiu confronts Boss Huang, who had previously wronged him, and uses intimidation to manipulate him into submission. Despite Huang's pleas for mercy, Tang Xiu ultimately spares him due to the loyalty shown by Huang's subordinate, Li Qiang. However, he demands compensation for the lives lost due to Huang's actions. Later, Tang Xiu experiments with the Banner of the 9th Son and Hundred Ghosts, releasing wraiths, but is shocked when a star in his dantian absorbs them, causing a mysterious transformation.
