Summary

In the Miao village, Ni Ka, known as the Fallen Flower Cave Woman, is revered for her connection to the Tree God. Despite her ethereal beauty and the village's belief that she married the deity, she returns after a year, revealing her lifeless state. She meets Mingyue, another girl cursed to wander as a waking corpse, who longs for her beloved. Their bond deepens as they share their tragic stories. However, their encounter is disrupted by Yi Qing, a grotesque figure, who attempts to take advantage of Mingyue. As the villagers prepare to journey to Tianmen Mountain for healing, Ni Ka silently follows, still haunted by her fate.
