Summary

In Luoyang, Ge Li cheerfully hops ahead while Su Bai and Little Carp follow. Little Carp inquires about a "Gu," which Su Bai explains as an insect, avoiding the topic's darker implications. Ge Li, from the Southern Frontier, is revealed to have a significant lineage. Upon arriving at Su Mansion, Ge Li explores the western courtyard but is startled by the presence of powerful pre-natal experts, Old Xu and Yan Cai Wei. She quickly decides she prefers to stay in Su Bai's courtyard instead. Su Bai, pretending to be troubled by his Gu poison, is impressed by Ge Li's self-invented Golden Armored Gu. He allows her to stay in the back courtyard, warning her to keep her Gu hidden from others. Ge Li, relieved to be with someone she trusts, follows Qin Lian Er to her new room.
