Summary

Yang Su expresses his envy towards Zhang Bai Ren, a dead man who retains memories but cannot enjoy life. He seeks the Governor's help against relentless pursuers and offers Hong Fu, a skilled woman, as a gift. Zhang Bai Ren agrees to help but insists on waiting until the second expedition concludes. Yang Xuan Gan, desperate to reclaim Hong Fu, pleads with Zhang Bai Ren but is turned into a stone statue temporarily. Afterward, Yang Xuan Gan plots revenge against those who humiliated him. Meanwhile, Li Jing receives a mysterious letter, and Qiu Ran Ke, while trying to rescue Li Jing, inadvertently trespasses on Zhang Bai Ren's estate, leading to a confrontation.
