Summary

In this chapter, Ji Xin reassures Junior Brother Zhao about their escape from the Great Sound of Thunder Temple, while Li Ruo Lan silently worries about Zhao's safety. Disguised as elderly people, Ji Xin and Li Ruo Lan leave the capital, traveling westward and eventually changing back to their original appearances. As they journey, Ji Xin grows excited, believing they have evaded pursuit, while Li Ruo Lan remains preoccupied with thoughts of Zhao. After a brief stop, they rush back to the Great Guangming Peak. Meanwhile, Chu Li, recovering from injuries, converses with Senior Brother Feng about the dangers of the Secret Guard House.
