Summary

Zhang Tong, a former squad leader in the Huoshan Army, finds himself in a dire situation after a failed robbery. Captured and tied up by the skilled herdsman Hu Lao San, he's plunged into a leather tub with boiling water, fearing he might be cooked alive. However, Meng Yuan Zhi, a former horse bandit, sees potential in Zhang Tong and decides to save him, offering him a chance to join their group. After a thorough cleaning and a jar of wine, Zhang Tong accepts the offer, eager to embrace the life of a horse bandit. Despite his initial fear, he is relieved to find camaraderie and a new purpose.
