Summary

Ling Shou encounters a beast from another dimension but realizes it is too far from the digital world to be contained. The beast attempts to self-explode, prompting Ling Shou to intervene. Despite his efforts, the beast explodes, leaving behind a digital crystal that merges into the digital world. Ling Shou awakens in the Digimon Continent, meeting a bird-like Digimon named Wu Cai Shou. They discuss the ancient rainbow beast, and Wu Cai Shou reveals it died fighting a Demon King. Ling Shou, hopeful about returning to his original world, asks to visit Wu Cai Shou's village. Upon arrival, he is recognized by a Fairy Digimon and is introduced as the inheritor of the ancient rainbow beast's will, leading the Digimon to unite against darkness.
