Summary

Miao Yi's cultivation technique is unsuitable for women, a promise made to Old Bai. Yan Xiu offers to teach his incomplete technique to Miao Yi's maids, as his sect has been gone for centuries. Miao Yi agrees, and the girls kneel to pay respect to Yan Xiu as their new master. Miao Yi then cultivates using wish-fulfilling pearls, refining emotions and enhancing his power with the 'Starlight Technique.' He prepares for the day, wearing a vest to allow Nether Eggs to absorb yang energy from his body. After a night of cultivation, he discovers the eggs have absorbed bloodstains, indicating progress in hatching the Nether Mantis.
