Summary

Bai Ze, the chosen one, realizes he can safely spend the night in the labyrinth, a trait he shares with his brother, Bai Jue, the last legendary explorer. Bai Ze reflects on his brother's sacrifices throughout their lives, feeling both gratitude and self-loathing. After a confrontation with his reflection, he resolves to find his brother. Meanwhile, he navigates complex feelings for Sang Yu, who has helped him but also misled him. At work, Bai Ze resigns, receiving praise and a final paycheck from his manager, while feeling a sense of loss as he bids farewell to colleagues, especially Mo Zi, who has been supportive.
