Summary

Liu, the shopkeeper, was intrigued by Cao Ning Er's interest in a young man, Shan Fei, who might be taken as a disciple by Third Master Cao. As Liu guided Cao Ning Er and Shan Fei to examine goods, they encountered Wu Qing, a common man with a cloth bag of unusual copper coins. Shan Fei recognized the coins as ten-bu from the Heavenly Phoenix era, noting their historical significance. However, he realized they held little value in the current period. Despite the shopkeeper's dismissive attitude, Shan Fei offered Wu Qing one tael of silver for the coins, surprising everyone present.
