Summary

In Chapter 9, titled "Sacrificing Life and Forgetting Death," Crow, a skilled assassin, attempts to kill Cui Xiaoxin but inadvertently stabs Li Muyang in the palm instead. Li Muyang, feeling no pain, heroically blocks Crow's attack, leading to a confrontation where he unexpectedly intercepts Crow's dagger twice. Crow, humiliated and frustrated, transforms his fruit knife into a giant sword to kill both Li Muyang and Cui Xiaoxin. However, Li Muyang, fueled by rage and newfound power, retaliates with a powerful punch, causing chaos in the café and injuring Crow. The chapter ends with Crow in disbelief at Li Muyang's strength.
