Summary

Miao Kong He Shang visits Shi Mu to seek his assistance for an important matter. They travel to a small island where they discuss the Mystical Realm's connection to the upper realm. Miao reveals he is a Mirror Inspector from the upper realm, sent to re-establish this connection. He explains that the Mystical Realm was once part of the True Immortal Realm but fell due to a great upheaval, severing its ties to the upper realm. Miao's mission is complicated by the emergence of a powerful beast, the Nine-Headed Taotie, which poses a significant threat to the Mystical Realm.
