Summary

Ling Shou activates the Guardian Shield to protect himself and his companions from an attack by Devimon, a Champion-level Virus Digimon. Despite being injured, he manages to fend off the attack. As they attempt to escape, Ling Shou decides to confront a pseudo-drill mole beast instead of the more powerful demon beast. Zhen Jie evolves into Bao Long Shou and defeats the pseudo-drill mole beast but is then struck down by the demon beast's Death Claws. Ling Shou wakes up later, injured, and learns from Xian Zhe Shou that he was found alone, with no sign of his companions. Ling Shou reflects on the situation, suspecting that the demon beast's interest may be linked to Zhen Jie’s evolution.
