Summary

The Sect Master, Shi Su, and elders welcome the new disciples, treating them with unexpected warmth. The sect has about one hundred members, and its past glory as a major sect has faded due to a catastrophic event. Despite the lack of resources, Mo Wuji decides to stay and cultivate, believing he can reach the peak of the Immortal Emperor realm. He sets up defensive formations in his residence and discovers he can absorb divine energy at an extraordinary rate, indicating he may have found the right place for his cultivation.
