Summary

Shi Mu is urged by his sister, Shi Yu Huan, to join the Black Tortoises Sect for better cultivation resources, but he values his peaceful life with his wife, Zi Er, over power. Later, after a successful mission against bandits, Zi Er reveals she is pregnant, and they plan to visit a temple to give thanks. While at Bi Rui Shan, they are attacked by the Fourth Evil of the Hei Feng Meng, leading to a fierce battle. Shi Mu is injured while trying to save Zi Er, who is fatally wounded. As he succumbs to his injuries, he reflects on his choices and regrets not pursuing a stronger path to protect his loved ones.
