Summary

Mo Wuji encounters a young man in Thaotie Valley who is searching for divine herbs. The young man offers to take Mo Wuji to a higher-level area, but Mo Wuji declines due to his low cultivation. The young man disappears suddenly, and Mo Wuji is approached by two women who insist he accompany them. Mo Wuji refuses and escapes from their grasp, realizing they are much stronger than him. After fleeing, he picks divine herbs but is soon captured by three stronger individuals who plan to use him as a miner. They feed him a Nirvana Pill, which enhances his cultivation but also poses a risk. The captors discover he has no spiritual roots and untie him, promising a chance to restore his roots if he mines enough divine crystals.
