Summary

Xu Yuan Shan, confused but composed, dismisses his nephew Xu Jing Lin’s request to accompany him south, knowing the family’s greedy intentions. Xu Jing Lin pleads for a chance to earn money, revealing his broken engagement, yet struggles to explain the circumstances. Disappointed, Xu Yuan Shan sends him home.
