Summary

Wang Pang Zi attempts to rescue Mei Mei but is thrown back by a beast sculpture. Ruan Jing Tian, obsessed with immortality, reveals his past sins, including sacrificing his own sister and others for power. As he tries to activate a star disk for ascension, Xu Yan intervenes, using the Spring Thunder Sword to shatter the disk and save Mei Mei and Gu Cha. Ruan Jing Tian, undeterred, climbs a tree to ascend but is confronted by Xu Yan, who unleashes the Xia Yu Sword. A fierce clash ensues, resulting in the tree being cut down, though Ruan Jing Tian survives the fall, caught on a branch.
