Summary

In a tense confrontation, Zuo Cheng Feng attempts to mediate between Niu You Dao and Jiang Wan Lou regarding the public humiliation of Princess Shang. Niu insists on accountability, demanding an explanation for the disrespect shown to the Princess. Despite Jiang's anger and attempts to downplay the situation, Niu remains resolute, even threatening to harm himself if his demands aren't met. Eventually, Tao Yan Feng is coerced into severing his own hand as a form of retribution. Niu then seeks assurance of the hostage's safety, leading to the arrival of Shang Shu Qing and her baby.
