Summary

Lu Yan and Zhong Hang Le were in the Ling Yan Pavilion when they saw the twenty-four heroes, including Cheng Yaojin, Qin Qiong, and Wei Chi Jing De, with murderous intent in their eyes. Zhong Hang Le was not afraid, saying it was Du Yu's conspiracy, but Lu Yan was terrified. Suddenly, the sound of hooves was heard, and Wei Chi Jing De appeared from a painting, riding a divine steed and wielding steel whips. Lu Yan was frightened, but Zhong Hang Le fought back using his abilities. However, Wei Chi Jing De was too strong, and Zhong Hang Le was forced to retreat. Lu Yan tried to escape, but encountered a scholar, Chang Sun Wu Ji, who was one of the eighteen scholars in the Literary Hall of Ling Yan Pavilion. Lu Yan was intimidated by Chang Sun Wu Ji's reputation as a Grand Scholar and the Minister of Works.
