Summary

In a tense escape from Zhu Zhong's forces, Han Dong supports the injured Mai as they head towards a palace, not of their current dynasty. The group is haunted by the actor emperor's ominous presence. As they navigate the palace, they witness a historical reenactment of royal conflicts. Mai seeks a golden light orb atop a dragon throne, believed to grant the qualification to be emperor. However, despite his efforts, the orb rejects him, revealing that he lacks the necessary destiny. As Mai grapples with his failure, others around him gain power, leaving him feeling abandoned and bitter about the twists of fate.
