Summary

Zhang Bai Ren reflects on Mu Qin's journey as a disciple of the Illusionary Love Sect, who, after a near-fatal battle, regains her cultivation with help from Sun Si Miao. He orders a search for information on the Illusionary Love Sect and the Golden Blade of the Great Desert, Zhang Jing An, whose family was tragically killed. Zhang Bai Ren deduces that Zhang Jing An's rescued baby, Zhang Xiao Cao, is pivotal to the story. He learns of the mysterious "Hand of King Yama," Lan Chun, and his brothers, leading him to plan a visit to Chaiyun Daoist Temple for vengeance. As he approaches the temple, he encounters a young boy and the old Daoist, setting the stage for further developments in his quest.
