The Cold Door Hero

Summary

In a grand tent, a father-son argument is mediated by a group of people. The son, anxious about joining a government-designated mutual aid group, confronts his father, who wants to stay in a safer area due to fears of war. After discussions, the father agrees to return home with the group. Li Yan Qing, present at the scene, discusses future provisions for returning citizens, promising them food, land, and tax exemptions. The crowd expresses gratitude, and Li Yan Qing instructs Zhao Kai to relay these plans. Later, Li Yan Qing learns from Prime Minister Lv Yi Hao about the death of Zhong Shi Dao, his benefactor, and decides to go to Tongguan to pay his respects.
